September Events
The month of September Bristol Public Library is celebrating National Library Card Sign-Up Month! It’s a great time to support your local library and discover all that your library has to offer.
For this year’s celebration, we encourage you to visit each of the CLEVNET libraries in Trumbull County during our Library Crawl. Pick up a Stamp Book at any participating library and visit each location to be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing!
Story Time Registration
Story Time, designed for 3-, 4- and 5-year-olds will be held on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m., beginning October 6th and continuing through October 27th. Children will enjoy stories, songs and games while developing social skills, interacting with other children and gaining confidence away from parents or caregivers.
Because space is limited, registration is required for Story Time. Families can visit the Bristol Public Library for more information and registration or contact the circulation desk at 330-889-3651.
Backyards for Butterflies
Join us on Monday, September 21st at 5:00 p.m. for Backyards for Butterflies, presented by Amy Reeher, Watershed Coordinator of the Trumbull Soil & Water Conservation District.
Learn more about butterflies and ways you can help create a welcoming habitat for them right in your own backyard! Registration required.
Coffee, Tea & Snack Station
The library has added a Coffee, Tea & Snack Station to the second floor!
Enjoy a break with a friend in our comfortable soft-seating area or relax with a good book while enjoying a snack or beverage. All items are available for purchase by donation, with all donations benefiting the Friends of the Library.
Stop by the library this September—we look forward to seeing you!
